Attention Ross Residents and Members of the Public,

The Ross Township Zoning Hearing Board meeting on Wednesday, August 12, 2020, will be held online at 7PM.

Residents and community members can watch or listen to the meeting via RingCentral webinar.

If you would like to watch, listen, or participate with the meeting, you must register for the webinar via RingCentral webinar. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions for how to join. You will need to download the application in order to view, listen or comment.

We will not be accepting comments or questions on Facebook or through RingCentral’s chat feature during the meeting.

Member Details

The Zoning Hearing Board is a quasi-judicial board comprised of 5 members appointed by the Board of Commissioners, serving a 5 year term. ZHB decisions can be appealed to the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas.

Overview

In accordance with the provisions and authority established through the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code (MPC) the Zoning Hearing Board hears appeals from the decisions of the Zoning Administrator, requests for variance/relief from zoning ordinances, special exceptions in accordance with the zoning ordinance, and the validity of any provision of the zoning or land use requirements. All applications must be turned in 28 days prior to meeting date.
