New Program!! Yoga for Service Members, Veterans, and First Responders

Instructor: Gina Wilkes, Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT); Warriors at Ease Teacher

Yoga, meditation, and mindfulness have become increasingly popular around the world. However, not all yoga is appropriate for those with combat or trauma-related health conditions. Warriors at Ease (WAE) teachers are trained in mind-body practices that are:

  • Culturally-Appropriate: WAE teachers are trained on how to teach in a way that is relevant and accessible to warriors.
  • Evidence-Based: The curriculum is based on research and the combined experience of the seasoned WAE faculty. The WAE teacher network is continually provided with the latest research.
  • Trauma-Sensitive: The approach and practices taught are all trauma-sensitive – safe, effective, and appropriate for those with visible or invisible injuries incurred from trauma.
WAE has trained over 750 teachers across the globe who have impacted an estimated 100,000 service members, veterans, family members, and caretakers.

Join Gina for safe and effective movement practices and breathing techniques to support health, resilience, and personal growth. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a mat, yoga block, and water.
