Ross Township, Allegheny Co., PA, current population of 31,000 is seeking an individual for the position of Building Code Official/Chief Inspector.  This position will administer the adopted PA Uniform Construction Code program prescribed by the Commonwealth, and as revised by the Ross Township Code. 

Successful candidate must have considerable expertise to administer and enforce Codes and Ordinances.  Successful candidate, must be a certified Residential and Commercial Building Inspector in Pennsylvania.   Candidates must have all applicable residential certifications in accordance with Pennsylvania UCC. A valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License is required.  Salary range is $55,000 to $68,000 and is DOQ.
