New Parks & Recreation Director

Casey Hausner has been named the new Director of Parks & Recreation. Having worked with the Township as our Outdoor Recreation & Marketing Assistant since 2022, Casey is excited for her new role. She will replace outgoing Director Eloise Peet, effective January 1st.

Holiday Schedule

Township Offices will close at 12:00 PM on Friday, December 22nd and reopen on Tuesday, December 26th at 8:00 AM.

2023 Citizen of the Year

Willa Neil has been named the 2023 Durachko-Gottfried Ross Township Citizen of the Year! Willa recently retired from her Children's Librarian position at the Northland Public Library after 55 years.

We thank Willa for the impact she has had on the tens of thousands of children and their families that have visited the Northland Public Library.

Sergeant Promotions

At a Board of Commissioner's Meeting held earlier this month, 4 Township Police Officers were promoted to the rank of Sergeant.

All-Way Stop - Jacks Run & Brighton

The intersection of Jacks Run Road and Brighton Road is now an ALL-WAY STOP intersection. The existing traffic lights will be removed. Please exercise caution while traveling in this area.

All meetings will be held in-person in the Board Room. However, the Board of Commissioners have decided to keep offering Zoom as an option for residents to watch and listen only during their meetings.

Farewell & Thank You!

Director Eloise Peet

Having served as the Director of Parks & Recreation since 2013, Eloise has decided to retire at the end of 2023. We cannot thank Eloise enough for her dedication, vision, and passion for advancing and improving the Parks & Recreation Department, especially our fields and parks. You will be missed!

Commissioner Tony Bisesi

Tony Bisesi leaves Ross Township after being appointed and serving the last 2 years as the 9th Ward Commissioner. We thank Commissioner Bisesi for his willingness to serve and for his commitment to the 9th Ward. Thank you, Tony!

Karen Condle

Karen has worked for Ross Township for over 35 years! She has spent the majority of her time at the Township as the Administrative Assistant in the Public Works Department. We are saddened to lose her experience and expertise. Best of luck in the future, Karen!
