The Jacks Run Road Bridge #3 that spans across I-279 is currently closed. This bridge is owned and maintained by Allegheny County.
The bridge was deemed unsafe and closed on July 3, 2025. This closure will remain in effect until Fall of 2027.
- Demolition of the current bridge will take place May 2026 - August 2026.
- The bridge replacement will begin in February 2027 and should reopen Fall 2027.
