Meet Jordan

Hello, my name is Jordan Sager. I am a master’s level social worker with nearly a decade of experience in the social work field. I also hold a certification in Alcohol and Drug Counseling (CADC) through the Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB) and an International Alcohol and Drug Counseling Certification through the International Certification and Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC). My social work journey began after I enlisted in the United States Air Force following high school. As a Behavioral Heath Technician in the Air Force, I had the opportunity to work in the Mental Health, Substance Abuse, and Child Welfare fields. Additionally, I was attached to the Traumatic Stress Response Team (TSRT) that provided crisis support/intervention to military and community residents following traumatic incidents and natural disasters. As Social Services Coordinator for the Ross Township Police Department, I provide comprehensive social services through the police department to residents in Ross Township. These services include, but are not limited to crisis intervention, short-term counseling, case management, consultation, assessment & referrals, community outreach, and education briefings. Providing social services through the police department has helped reduce recidivism and improve the overall health of the community in Ross Township.

Mission

  • To enhance human well-being and help meet the basic needs of all residents in Ross Township by providing comprehensive social services through the Ross Township Police Department.
