Garbage Collection

Ross Township contracts with Waste Management for weekly refuse and recycling collection. 

Automated collection has now started. Please use your new Waste Management issued garbage can.

If you would like to swap your 96 gallon can for a smaller size, please contact Waste Management.

Cans are to be placed at the curb no earlier than 4 p.m. the night before your collection day.

Garbage and Recycling are picked up on the same day, but the day of the week depends on the street that you live on. Waste Management picks up trash throughout the week in Ross Township.

Senior Citizen Discount

Ross Township residents who are 65 and older are eligible for a senior citizen discount on their Waste Management bill. Please call Waste Management at 1-800-866-4460 to sign up.

Bulk Items 

Waste Management will collect one bulk item once per month during the 3rd full week of the month at no additional charge. Place your bulk item at the curb near your collection bin on the same day as your trash collection during your bulk collection week. Additional items can be arranged for pick up for a fee by calling WM at 1-800-451-3060.
